Possessing or Purchasing with the Intent to Sell

California Health and Safety Code (HSC) 11351: Under HSC 11351 the possession or purchasing certain controlled substances or other narcotic drugs with the intent to sell them is illegal.

Prostitution

Penal Code 647(b): Prohibits engaging in the act of prostitution and the solicitation of sex acts.

Robbery

Penal Code 211: Robbery is when you take a person's property from their body or immediate possession accomplished by force or fear.

Sexual Battery

PC 243.4: Sexual battery is when you unlawfully touch another person for the purpose of sexual arousal, sexual gratification, or sexual abuse.

Stalking

Penal Code 646.9: Stalking is when a person willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly follows or willfully and maliciously harasses another person and who makes a credible threat with the intent to place that person in reasonable fear for his or her safety.

Statutory Rape

Penal Code 261.5: Statutory rape is the unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is or was under the age of 18 at the time of the alleged sexual intercourse and who is not the spouse of the perpetrator and can be charged as a misdemeanor or felony. Be advised, in statutory rape cases even if the victim consented the suspect is still charged as the state considers minors unable to appreciate the law.

Stolen Property

Penal Code 496: It's a crime to buy, sell, receive, conceal, or withhold property which you know to be stolen, which means if you knowingly receive the stolen property, regardless if it was directly from the thief or through someone else who acquired the stolen property, you may be charged with receiving stolen property.

Theft

Penal Code 488: Crime of Theft. Committing the crime of theft is permanently or temporarily depriving another business or person money or personal property, or defraud another out of land or services and you feloniously intended to do so (feloniously in this case has nothing to do with any felony charge, rather it means malicious).

Theft- Petty Theft

Penal Code 484: The crime of theft that resulted in a loss of property valued at $950 or less.

Theft- Grand Theft

Penal Code 487: The crime of theft that resulted in a loss of property valued at more than $950.

Trespassing

Penal Code 602: Trespassing takes place when you enter someone else's property without permission or a right to do so. Vandalism

Penal Code (PC) 594: Vandalism is, "Every person who maliciously commits any of the following acts with respect to any real or personal property not his or her own [...] Defaces with graffiti or other inscribed material."

Vandalism

PC 594: Vandalism is when you deface, damage, or destroy someone else's property.

Vehicular Manslaughter

PC 191.5(a) and PC 191.5(b): PC 191.5(a) gross negligence means you were careless, and this is charged as a felony. PC 191.5(b) requires that you act with ordinary negligence, meaning the failure to use reasonable care to prevent reasonably foreseeable harm to oneself or another person, and can be charged either as a misdemeanor or felony.

Wire Fraud

18 U.S.C. § 1343: This federal crime is where you deprive of property through use of an interstate telephone calls or electronic communication including the internet, wire transfers, and even the use of television, radio and text messaging.
